Course Description
The Certificate Course in 3D Printing is a three-month skill-oriented programme designed to provide participants with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in additive manufacturing technology. The programme introduces learners to the principles of 3D printing, digital design, materials used in additive manufacturing along with hands-on practices in a state-of-the-art laboratory. During the course, participants will learn how to create 3D models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, convert them into printable formats, and manufacture physical objects using 3D printers. The programme combines theoretical understanding with hands-on laboratory practice, enabling learners to understand the complete workflow from concept design to finished prototype. After successful completion, students will be able to design, prepare, and fabricate simple components using 3D printing technology, thereby enhancing their employability and innovation capabilities in emerging manufacturing sectors.
