The Certificate Course in Industrial Welding is a short-term, intensive skill development program designed to enhance practical competencies required in modern welding industries. After successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
1) read and interpret welding drawings, joint details, and standard welding symbols for accurate fabrication work.
2) prepare the job as per drawing.
3) perform basic welding operations using SMAW, MIG, and TIG processes with appropriate selection of tools, electrodes and parameters.
4) identify common welding defects, understand their causes, and apply basic inspection and quality control techniques.
5) follow industrial safety standards, properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a safe working environment
