Assam Skill University was honoured to welcome a high-level delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) led by Shri L. Satya Srinivas, Executive Director for India, Board of Directors, ADB, and Ms. Mio Oka, Country Director – India, ADB, accompanied by the INRM Mission Team, to its Main Campus at Mangaldai on July 17th, 2026. The delegation was welcomed by Shri Subhash Chandra Das, IAS (Retd.), Vice-Chancellor, Assam Skill University; Dr. Om Prakash, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department; and Shri Hanif Noorani, ACS, Registrar, Assam Skill University. During the visit, the delegation toured ASU's state-of-the-art workshops and laboratories, including the Semiconductor Laboratory, Electric Vehicle Laboratory, Solar Energy Laboratory, Robotics & Cobot Laboratory, and Additive Manufacturing Laboratory. They also interacted with students, faculty members, and project officials, gaining first-hand insight into the University's industry-oriented learning ecosystem and the progress of the Assam Skill University Project.
