Assam Skill University organised Deeksharambh 2026, a one-week induction programme for the newly admitted first-year students of the Academic Session 2026–27. The six-day programme, held from 1 to 7 August 2026, was designed to familiarise students with the University’s academic environment, departments, faculty members, curriculum, laboratories and institutional practices. The programme included interactive and ice-breaking sessions, departmental and campus visits, orientation sessions, interactions with senior students, guidance on academic and examination systems, and activities promoting innovation, literature, culture and sports. Students were also oriented on important institutional values and practices, including anti-ragging policies, hostel rules, gender sensitisation and student declarations. The programme provided the new students with an engaging platform to familiarise themselves with the University and begin their academic journey with confidence and a sense of belonging.
