A 10-day Residential Workshop on Sustainable Eco-Tourism and Homestay Operations, initiated by Balipara Foundation in collaboration with Assam Skill University, was held from 19^th July, 2026 to 29^th July, 2026 at the Department of Tourism, Assam Skill University, Mangaldai Campus. A total of 11 participants from Guijan, Tinsukia and Biswanath Charali have joined the programme to gain in-depth knowledge of Sustainable Tourism and hands-on experience in homestay operations.Designed by the faculty members of the Department of Tourism, the workshop incorporates 70% practical learning, reflecting Assam Skill University's commitment to experiential, industry-oriented education and sustainable livelihood development.
